Do you want to tell the guy in Detroit that the best use of his education and tens of thousands of others is picking vegetables? I don't think so. I don't see any of these paeons to urban farming or welcoming capitalisms collapse in their middle class and priveleged educated lives going back a hundred years themselves and living the simple life they want so much for others to live for them.
The conundrum of the creative class that thinks up this shit is just that. Not wanting to put your money or your Macbooks where your mouth is.
